Under the leadership of Dr Cory Walters Wright, Principal Forensic Psychologist, the practice delivers clear, impartial, and court-ready psychological assessments informed by extensive experience within secure and justice environments.

Dr Cory Walters-Wright
Clinical Director
Dr Walters-Wright is a highly experienced principal forensic psychologist currently working within a London Youth Offending Institution (YOI). His role involves leading trauma-informed psychological work in a complex and high-risk environment.
Over the course of his career, Dr Walters-Wright has worked across a broad spectrum of clinical settings, including assertive outreach in the community, medium secure hospitals, and several prisons. He has extensive experience in working with a wide range of clinical presentations such as personality disorders, intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum conditions (ASD), as well as varying ages including young people and older adults.
Dr Walters-Wright applies a trauma-informed model of care in his current role, reflecting his commitment to holistic and compassionate clinical practice. His work is also underpinned by a deep engagement with issues of cultural diversity and social justice. He uses a multicultural framework to explore issues of difference, power, and inequality making him a leading voice in promoting equity within the criminal justice system. His expertise in this area has led to national recognition, including his involvement in major diversity initiatives.
In addition to his clinical and consultancy work, Dr Walters-Wright is frequently instructed to provide expert psychological assessments and opinions in complex forensic cases for court and parole. His areas of expertise include offending behaviour, violence, personality disorder, sexual offending, domestic violence, substance misuse, neurocognitive functioning, mental health, autism, learning disability, trauma, suggestibility, malingering, and parental Capacity.


Dr Rayann Rawlins

Rayann Rawlins is a dually qualified HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist and Forensic Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience across in patient services and prison in reach mental health.
Formerly a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Lead at the Yorkshire Centre for Forensic Psychiatry, Rayann has built an extensive career supporting individuals with complex mental health needs within forensic and secure settings.
Rayann has also worked as an Independent Consultant, preparing expert psychological reports for criminal and family court proceedings, including several high profile cases. She is highly trusted for her expertise, with her work shaped by decades of experience in assessment, risk management, trauma, personality difficulties, offending behaviour, and mental health.
Now retired from full time clinical practice, Rayann was appointed as a Specialist Psychologist Member of the Parole Board in 2020, bringing her expertise to decisions involving risk, rehabilitation, and public protection. She was reappointed in 2025.
Rayann is widely recognised for her thoughtful, evidence-based approach and her ability to provide clear, balanced opinions in highly sensitive and complex cases.
At Walters-Wright Psychology, Rayann supports the team through staff mentoring, quality assurance of reports, and the provision of clinical supervision. Her depth of knowledge and experience is an invaluable asset to both colleagues and clients alike.
Chloe Dafe
Associate
Chloe Dafe is an experienced forensic psychologist specialising in the assessment and formulation of risk within criminal justice settings. She has worked across prisons, the NHS, and independent practice, developing a broad understanding of complex forensic populations.
Chloe has particular expertise in assessing risk relating to general violence, sexual offending, and intimate partner violence. She has been instructed by both solicitors and the prison service to provide comprehensive psychological risk assessments in complex legal cases, offering clear, evidence-based opinions to support court and criminal justice decision-making.
Her work also includes the assessment of cognitive functioning, including intelligence and suggestibility, alongside personality assessment. She places strong emphasis on psychological formulation, using a collaborative and integrative approach to understand individuals’ needs, vulnerabilities, and risk, and to inform meaningful risk management strategies.
Chloe adopts a trauma-informed, compassionate approach, recognising the impact of adverse experiences on behaviour. Now working independently, she provides specialist psychological assessment and consultancy, drawing on her experience across custodial, healthcare, and legal settings.


Wendy Walters
Business Administrator
With over 30 years of comprehensive administrative experience, Wendy Walters has developed a versatile, organised, and proactive approach to supporting teams and services across a wide range of professional environments. This includes 20 years with South London & Maudsley NHS Trust as a Senior Service Administrator, alongside additional experience working as a virtual assistant for a prominent psychologist.
Wendy has extensive hands-on experience coordinating MDT meetings, producing accurate minutes, and carrying out high-volume copy typing. She is confident managing financial processes such as petty cash, as well as supervising and supporting junior staff. Her experience also includes organising mandatory staff training, providing reception cover, and maintaining complex diary management systems.
She is skilled in arranging interpreters and coordinating prison visits, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently and with sensitivity. Wendy has also provided HR advisory support and continues to strengthen her customer service skills through ongoing work with NHS 111. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated professionalism, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Dr Tamsin Lovell
Associate
Dr Tamsin Lovell is an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over ten years of experience working across NHS community mental health services, hospital settings, and prison settings. She has extensive experience undertaking specialist psychological assessments within both healthcare and forensic contexts, including assessments prepared for court proceedings and parole reviews.
Tamsin has worked across community treatment teams and inpatient services, supporting individuals presenting with complex emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties. Her work has involved comprehensive psychological assessment, risk formulation, and multidisciplinary collaboration to inform treatment planning, risk management, and decision-making within clinical and legal settings.
Tamsin has experience providing psychological opinions within medico-legal contexts, drawing on her background across community, hospital, and forensic-related services to deliver balanced and professionally informed assessments.
